Sweet Potato or kamote, in our own dialect, is one of my favorites. This was one afternoon when my brother harvested and cooked this locally grown produce here in our small farm. He paired it with a bagoong which he bought from a local here in our village.

I took photos first (as always. LOL) before eating these yummy afternoon snacks. I used my Canon 1200D with a Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8 and enhanced it in the default iPhone photo editor.

The plant next to it was bartered from an old lady. I gave her grocery items in exchanged of this plant. I kinda liked how it looks coz I remember the characters in the movie Trolls whenever I see it. Its so cute. Haha. It was actually placed in a recycled plastic bottle originally, but my brother transferred it to this coconut shell pot which he got from a local as well.

While enjoying these kamotes, we were savoring the beautiful view of the Celosias, the cold breeze, and conversation with my brother about aspirations and future projects that would hopefully, also benefit the community.
