My Top 3 Board Games for PHC Top 3

This is my entry into this month’s PHC Top 3 contest.
Chess
For board games, Chess will always take no. 1 spot for me. I think Chess is one of those games whose principles also apply on real life and whatever I write about Chess it will never be enough. I wrote a post once about Chess and Life.
Snakes & Ladders
This game brings back happy memories when life was much simpler. We had fun in trying to score 100 without getting bit by Snakes. It was truly a game of luck and fun.
Scrabble
This was truly wonderful game to test your creative skills. It was easy fun exercise in childhood to put your brain to test.

Ah... Probably you saw my post at its worst, was supposed to do this post few hours later. I was just working on its draft and accidentally hit submit but blockchain won't forgive your mistakes, so had to quickly transform it into readable post, Lol

Hmm...I haven't really tried chess till now...(probably due to cultural differences, they aren't common here...) but Snake and Ladders as well as Scrabble, sure!
Dang, now I miss the feel of getting bit by a super long snake when near the last tile...a friend of my friend designed a game similar to Snake and Ladders (but a lot more complex with card game elements as well as more strategy apart from luck) and I really love it, I'll just hope that I will one day get the chance to transform it into a PC game!
Game idea of your friend sounds very interesting. He improvised it as cardboard game?
It's something a little more which I think is hard to implement as a table game... (theoretically speaking it is best played on the floor with a huge area). Players form teams, randomly select a character card as their character which has special abilities to be used in the game, and only a starting point is defined on the "map". Players draw cards from a deck to build the map to their advantage (following certain rules) as the game progresses and they move around it, with the last tile being the objective to reach. Plus some powerups and event tiles, it's chaotic, lol.
They built it for an assignment, but I think it's really cool if it's a real game available for multiplayer on phones or something. Probably gotta ask permission from them to build one (if I can...) haha.

Hey hey @bluemist! A man after my own heart with these choices! I love all 3 of these games growing up! Life indeed was a lot simpler when Snakes and Ladders was the joy of the day hey?!
Chess is rather like life I agree! You always need to be one step ahead and the feeling of saying "check mate" with that cheeky little smug grin on your face... can't beat it lol!
And of course, Scrabble is the people's favourite! Every game different from the last :)
