Figurin of fashion

I advance in my fashion illustration classes. For now I only use solid colors avoiding shadows. It's a flat design.

I think that fashion no longer gives for more innovations in its base design or lines. It is easy to appreciate that unique pieces do not exist. Everything that could be designed, it seems, has already been done. That is why there is talk of princess cut, Halter neck, Raglan sleeve, bell skirt, Chanel dress, and so on. They are cuts that designers copy, make some transformations, change color and texture that they later sell as unique, when in reality they only sell their brand.

It is difficult to find an authentic exclusive piece, if we talk about lines. All the catwalks, if we unified the color of their collection, would look exactly the same.

Lately the fashion industry has focused more on studying the patterns and ranges of colors that enhance and make a difference. There has emerged a new occupation: pattern designer. What are these people who have an eye to combine colors and harmonize elements to create their own prints.

However, fashion has not lost its followers and remains a source for many to generate income.
