Gym Progress, 8/27 and 8/28/19; Monthly Summary
The end goal of exercise...eating ice cream in a field of daisies while wearing a hockey mask and dreaming of big rigs...
Yesterday
Yoga for an hour...holy hell, I was on my second rest day from lifting, but yoga kicked my tail repeatedly. This was was my second session (the first being back in Feb of 18). I must have dropped out at least 10 times to breathe or because I couldn't hold a pose. It has become obvious that I am going to have to add some study of yoga to the rest of my study in physical rehab.
Because let's call it as it is, after a year of lifting, 7 months of nothing, and a month and a half of lifting again, I am a wreck as far as good health is concerned. This is rehab! Being a 50 year old fatass is not an excuse!
So there is another yoga class tomorrow that I will commit to taking.
I must have looked like a fat puppy rolling around all uncoordinated in contrast to the sleek greyhounds of the yoga floor LOL.

Notes
I screwed up keto again on Sunday night, but was back into keto by yesterday morning. I was thinking fried chicken was only 9 carbs per piece, but 2 pieces put me over.
I am getting to the point where I need to start doing MOAR cardio; I need to decide on which martial art to choose. Most of the schools have kid classes...there are no defendu or derived schools, and nobody teaches the gladius for a single user (or even a maniple ;>).
I also need to decide how to integrate MA, yoga, and swimming without interfering with the weightlifting.
Monthly Summary
August - Went to gym 10 times for an average of 1/3 days. Good, but I can and will do better. (hmmm, if I do yoga tomorrow, and if I go on the 31st, that's 12 times, and I'll have to redo the monthly summary ;>)
