We had home made pizza tonight, what do you think?

We had hot pizza right from the oven tonight!

20200519_234541.jpg

I find I can buy a cheese pizza for the crust, and put what I like in top.

20200519_230712.jpg

I added red sweet bell peppers, thin sliced zucchini, roast beef, black olives, mushrooms, and covered it with cheese. It ended up with an inch plus of added goodies, that melted all together. It was real tasty, but not cheap. It costs less to get a pizza from on of the shops, but none can match this pizza! A couple of slices are a full Meal for me, and I can eat an entire pizza at the local pizza shop.

20200519_231658.jpg

I eat both types, but the homemade ones are pizza pies; with a thick layer of goodies! The blank pizza I buy is 16 inches in diameter, so these are big pieces! Two pieces totally fill a plate....

20200519_234550.jpg

It was very good! Even my dog gets excited when I make pizza, because he gets the edge crust (AKA pizza bones)....

My stomach is purring, it was Very good pizza! Two pieces are a full meal, and everyone loved it.

It was loaded, and then I was loaded ,LOL! I love covering it with fresh veggies, and whatever other goodies that sound tasty; then drowning it in cheese.

Good eats!

My Wife likes it, and I taught her how to shoot; so it is safer to make pizza, ROFLOL! Besides, it tastes pretty good too. It is fun to do also, everyone picks and chops what they want added. Last time I added artichokes and turkey bacon. It is never the same twice!

Yes, zucchini is a good add to pizza! Sorry, none left, LOL. Must have vaporized, sure is gone....

I bought a black pizza sheet with holes; it makes the crust, crisp. The silver one is not as good on Crispin' the crust!

Nothing like a crispy crust. I hate pizza that is presented on a soggy crust. I also don't like deep pan bases...Thin-style for me.

If you have cici's pizza down under, order their Vegetarian pizza (NO I'm Not a vegetarian) But they make a really tasty thin crust, that has nice goodies on top.

Got to have a dark pan with holes for a good crust.

I'm making home made ones tonight, inspired by you. Thin bases and all fresh toppings. Vegetarian for my wife and vegetarian plus hot salami for myself. Add in some garlic pan-bread and that's a legit dinner I reckon. I'm even putting some thin zucchini on them!

Then my work here is done, LOL! Zucchini on my friend. :D

If you saute mushrooms in butter, before they go on the pizza; it adds a nice flavor.

Post the pictures!

I was going to ask, do you cook the zucchini first? I was planning on throwing them on my cast iron grill to colour them up a little. Same with the mushys.

I like them a little crunchy like stir fry, but browning on the grill sounds Good!

I'll have to try that here....

Hey @smithlabs...

Pre-cheese and post cheese, plus the zucchini grilling.

Tomato base, chargrilled mushroom. red and green capsicum (peppers), red onion, ox-heart tomato, pineapple, kalamata olives, hot salami, fresh basil and pizza cheese. Faiths is the same, but no salami. In the oven now.

Enjoy it and don't burn your mouth.

I could eat that, LOL! Looks perfectly done, and well loaded. The grilled toast is a nice touch, I'll steal that idea too!

The toast is garlic. Basically garlic butter applied liberally (not by Liberals) and then placed on a hot grill. Tasty.

Looks great, I will have to try it out! I like garlic toast, the last time I did that, it was 15 sliced loaves....

It is okay to put liberals on a grill for good grill marks, good training, LOL!

Medium well as a minimum! The more liberal they are, the more temperature is needed....

Could fix a lot of stuff, if we use enough heat....

As long as they're on fire it's all good I guess. 🔥

That IS the easiest way to crisp them, LOL! Besides, a quart of gas, and a match; is pretty cheap....

I told a friend that a certain person was not worth crossing the street to pee on, if they were on fire. He explained to Me, that it was possible to pee on them, without putting out the fire!

A different viewpoint can improve your outlook on life , LOL!
