Volcano project

Hi friends,

I think I have previously posted that I would like to code a volcan monitor automatically into the #steem blockchain, but I would also like to share the journey to do it. I also started new series of posts (that sadly I needed to stop and hold for a week or so) and then I think I would be valuable to see how you will feel about an automatic post that monitors the active volcano. In the project I think I will start it as a side project and also to learn few tools.

Alpha phase

• I will be able to grab the image from the website that monitors the volcanoes and make sure to grab a picture and store it locally.
• Once I'm able to do it for one volcano, I would like to grab the images for the available volcanoes.
• Be able to do that in a time lapse maybe 1 every hour. Generate a daily report where I share the pictures or possibly generate a gif like the one I just generated below.

Beta phase

• I would like to get into machine learning/ AI or image analysis or all together, ideally I would like to detect when something is going on in the volcano and start grabbing images more often and automatically make alert post (something that will be interesting and not as often) as to share the insights and the activity hopefully generating a time-lapse gift / short video.
• GIF and video will be done by code (automation)
• Learn new stuff and have fun

Release 1

• I want to be able to add weather conditions at the volcano, tremors and some other indicators that might be interesting in a daily basis per volcano and maybe once an alert report is generating (an event was identified)
• Probably improve accuracy and avoid errors like posting or sharing clouds or other events that are not interesting.
• Share recent published news like the onces above once an event was detected:
