Pennsif's Sustainability Curation Digest for MSP - week ending 24 May 2020

I'm happy in the garden.

Especially when the sun is shining and the crops are growing.

Tranquility, peace and productivity - all rolled into one healthy pastime.

Today we have had kale, leeks and chard from the garden. And there will be lettuce for tea. Eating the hours of love and labour. Perfect.

Here are some sustainability related posts on Hive that share that love of growing and eating...

The Minnow Support Project has multiple curators that pick five posts from under-valued minnows each week to highlight through MSP3k. This way MSP and PAL can promote new writers and content creators on Hive, and in effect reward them for doing a superior job.

Hi Alex

I had to make some major work adjustments because of the virus, but getting back on top of it now.

Hope all is going well. You are in Portugal still aren't you?

I AM still in Portugal! its been a Very long challenging story this past two months.. Ive had to move 7 times, each time under more difficult circumstances.. the last one wasnt pretty at all!

I have now committed to being here, i own a Car, ugh.. and just today met a loVely Austriain couple who have now invited me to be on their land with them.. we are both buying yurts and settling here.. By 'chance' they live just 2Km from our land we just bought here... I hope to move over there within some months.. but lets see .. we have to get some wells dug and water going before i can even consider it here.. it is HOT.. damn hot!

So there is a lot happening, and im quite amazed to see How many people i come across who want to not only make ecoVillages happen in just the way i want to, but also specifically want earthships.. which are REAlly needed here as its SO dry and hot in summer.. I am working on a new design, its loooking nice.. a 3D Fibonacci spiral earthship that i think has great potential to keep its occupants cool at 45 degrees with no power... lets see.. my hope is to build this either for myself or for someone like the couple i just met..

SO .. i reallllyyyy hope that very soon i can have my Yurt up and have my own space where i can feel safe and start to wind down a bit..

what a journey!
