[ I open up my petals and wake up to the new day ]
Aurinko haluaa hyväillä minua
[ The sun wants to caress me ]
Eläimet haluavat tehdä kanssani yhteistyötä.
[ Animals want to collaborate with me ]
Enkä kyllä oikeastaan yhtään ihmettele miksi
[ And in fact I do not question their reasons ]
Olen se mikä olen
[ As I am what I am ]
Enkä edes yritä muuttua muuksi
[And I do not even think of changing into something else ]
Miksi haluaisinkaan
[ Why would I ]
Sillä olenhan ilmiselvästi se, miksi minut on tarkoitettu.
[ As obviously I am what I was meant to be ]
Tunnen ilmavirran lähestyvän
[ I feel a stream of air closing in ]
Varteni katkeaa jättäen minut ilman tukea
[ My stem snaps leaving me without any back up ]
Tunnen askelten pysähtyvän vierelleni
[ I sense foot steps stopping beside me ]
Juureni kaivetaan maasta
[ My roots are being dug up from the ground ]
Eloton ruumiini heitetään kaltaisteni joukkoon.
[ My lifeless body is being tossed away amongst those resembling me ]
Häpeän tunne valtaa minut tuntiessani lehtieni kuihtuvan
[ And as I feel my petals wither away, I am ashamed ]
Pyydän anteeksi virhettäni
[ I apologize for the mistake I made ]
Sillä olenhan ollut vain este.
[ As I have been nothing but an obstacle ]
Ihmisten matkalla täydellisyyteen.
[ On human race’s way to perfection. ]
