Another Milestone!
I still remember when I started almost three years ago on the Steem Blockchain and the engagement was timid at first. However, as I started to engage the community and the value they were bringing to each other and the ecosystem being created, I quickly fell down the rabbit hole. The amount of resources of time and money put in were a learning experience which allowed me to grow and learn how to communicate better and with confidence.
I would have never thought I would ever achieve the ranks of Dolphin and much less get so close to Orca although it ultimately became my goal. The cost of reaching became excessive although the market bubble made it easier to accumulate more over time. However, I found it more interesting and engaging to earn it via engagement in the ecosystem. Many communities and projects made it very easy to do so.
Unfortunately, times have changed a bit and a division made me lose focus and really take a step back. I immensely appreciate the learning experience this has provided me and is probably the reason why I have remained on the margins mostly over the last year. I consider my resources here a good investment and at times even “lottery tickets.” However, the potential remains interesting given the world surrounding us.
It took me some time to write these thoughts but I can assure you it has been on my mind for a while. I think that value continues to be created and the more adoption we get at this unique crossroad of social media and Blockchain, the more the opportunities can be built. As many have said along their journey, I may have come for the moon, but I have stayed for the community!
