Steem Cross Posting on SoMee: Ever Heard of it?

So I'm writing this post on SoMee.social which is a crypto social network site. I saw it mentioned in a Youtube video I was watching and decided to check it out. So far it looks pretty interesting.

(*edit Turns out the cross posting feature didn't work, so here I am on old faithful Steemit. She ain't pretty, but she works. Lot's of stuff over there after further poking didn't work.)

What's really interesting is that they already have the integration of cross posting to the Steem Blockchain. Your rewards show up on their site along with what you earn there.

Their native currency is ONG and apparently you can stake ONG to earn a portion of the ad revenue from the site.

The site is still in beta, but it looks clean and has some really nice features. Overall the layout is primarily influenced by Facebook, but less busy. They also already have Groups which seems like a pretty big deal.

In terms of account creation, I created an account and wallet in about 2 minutes. It was ridiculously easy.

Their wallet is also a little mini decentralized exchange and you can exchange tokens directly within it. It currently supports ERC-20 tokens only I think.(*edit: Doesn't work)

Writing this post I'm sure I'll need to edit it over on the Steem side as the writing window is set up for short form content and not writing a long blog post, but I'm a rebel, and I do what I want.(*edit: Had to write the whole thing on Steem because it won't connect my account)

I think this is actually a good companion with Steem if it can get some traction. The UX is a lot more polished than Steemit and they're basically advertising Steem on every post you make. It's sort of like another tribe.

It really opens my mind to how blockchain projects can cooperate together for mutual benefit.

*edit: So yea, upon further investigation, not so jealous. They still have a long way to go, but I'll be keeping my eye on this project.
