BLOCKTRADES | My first post made from PALNET by @kantos

Greetings dear readers, in this opportunity I bring you information that may be useful, I do not intend to make this a tutorial, much less, however I consider relevant because in my particular case until now knew very little about this subject, but I gave myself the task of search a little and got much more of what I was looking for, so I will gradually share that information with you.
Today's topic will be:

In this case the first thing to ask is:

WHAT IS BLOCKTRADES?

The answer to this simple question is quite broad, as well as its utilities, but I invite you to go step by step as I did this search.
As it is common to suppose, first of all we go to our search engine...

I found more than 2.870.000 results, I immediately started with the highlighted ones.

  • Among those outstanding results I must mention the address of the website of

    BLOCKTRADES

  • The second most outstanding result is an excellent publication made by @provenezuela two years ago and is titled:

Learning to use blocktrades to change steem and sbd

  • blocktrades.PNG

  • In the third place of outstanding results appears a very good @mondeja post that bears by name:

What it is and how it works blocktrades advantages and some inconvenience

  • The fourth outstanding result is the @blocktrades blog in Steemit.
  • After that, there's a series of videos by Jerry Banfield and other authors who have talked about it.

I set out to read each one of these post and I found them very good, only because I am 2 or 3 years old, there is information that is outdated, so I consider it necessary to continue to delve into the questions:
  • What is blocktrades?
  • How to use Blocktrades?

  • According to the above mentioned @mondeja post

We can take from there a function that seems super important to me: "Through @Blocktrades we can buy and sell crypto currencies."

Based on this information is necessary to know what is the process, to understand I went to the official website of @blocktrades https://blocktrades.us/

We automatically notice the first significant change from the posts mentioned above, currently @blocktrades requires that we register before we can use that platform.

So let's start by registering as we would on any traditional social network such as facebook, instagram, tweeter, etc.

After filling the data and sending them, we will get a notice where it tells us to check our mail to get the verification link.

Then we go to our mail and then we verify the account and we will get the next notice:

With our verified account we are already logged in and can use this platform to exchange crypto coins, or what is also known as buying and selling cryptoactives.

If you require more information I recommend you go to the following

    LINK

    The next question may be:

Where can we get these crypto coins?
sources are many and exchange platforms also exist several, but understanding that we are authors of content and work within the blockchain of Steem, what is incumbent on us in this opportunity is to learn to exchange coins from the @Steemit platform through @blocktrades, since from the Wallet or Steemit wallet you can link with blocktrades to buy and / or sell your STEEM or SBD since they are the native currencies of that platform and our payment is received in these currencies mentioned above.

I'll go to my Steemit purse to indicate the steps to follow:

  • We have 2 options to buy or sell our active crypto, STEEM or SBD, select and click on the tab of the currency we are going to buy or sell.
  • In my case I will select STEEM DOLLAR (SBD)

  • We find the menu and select SELL
  • It appears on the left the cryptomoneda you want to send and to the right the cryptomoneda you want to receive.
Basically I recommend to check in the tab on the right to which cryptomoneda it is convenient to convert their cryptomoneda.
  • The options are:

  • BitShares
  • Bitcoin
  • Bitcoin Cash ABC
  • Dash
  • Dogecoin
  • EOS
  • Ethereum
  • Litecoin
  • Monero
  • Steem
  • Steem Power
  • Steem Power Delegation

  • In my case just as an example I will change SBD (Steem Dollar) for STEEM.

According to BlockTrades 1 SBD is equal to 2.401 STEEM on this day and at this time (the rate varies and is an approximate amount).

I then proceed to fill the space below with my username in Steemit @kantos, you must place your username and then click on the button marked in the next screenshot.

Generally we have our SteemConnect affiliate account, if so we must again place our username in the space below and click on the button that indicates the capture.

It will indicate in green letters if our amount is available and how much exactly we have in our account.

We click on the button that indicates the arrow in the following image.

Again we fill in the data they ask us, in this case our user name and the active password.

If everything is correct, two green checks will be marked and we proceed to click on the blue button Sign In.

We reviewed our Steemit purse and we will realize that we have already achieved the change from 1 SBD to 2.341 STEEM.

Mission accomplished with this first part of @blocktrades, for the next one I will be talking about How to make the change without Steem Connect (manual).
I hope this material has been to your liking.
In a next issue I will also be explaining in a simple way and from my point of view indicate the steps to make exchange to other exchanges like Rudex.

All the images were screenshots taken by my person from my pc.

The sources of the mentioned publications are already referenced in the text of the post with their respective link.

For your attention and being part of our community...
    THANK YOU!
