My First Post on Palnet and How To Claim Your Tokens

I have been reading about this Palnet alternative interface to Steemit for almost two weeks now!!!

I had not really taken interest in it until a friend posted in our Uganda Steemit whatsapp group of how they had redeemed 52$ worth of Palnet tokens!!!

Now 52$ might sound small money, but to a Ugandan, that is insane money hehehehe. It does not mean that everyone is eligible to earn 52$!!!!!

I have been on Steemit for close to two years now and wow, it has been the best thing that has happened to my life!!!

I love the way the Steem commnuity has moved through the bear market!! Yes the bear market has affected many crypto projects, Steemit inclusive!!

It is during this bear market that many projects have come up and developed on the Steem blockchain. Projects like @actifit and @steemmonsters have thrived through the bear market.

I am just excited to make my first post here and also be able to earn some Palnet tokens.
So I will now be able to earn Steem Power, Steem(or SBD) and now Palnet tokens.

This is so exciting folks and if you have not yet claimed your tokens, let me show you briefly below.

One of the criteria that was used to award these Palnet tokens was your activity on the Steem blockchain!!! I remember reading something like you must have been active for the last 3 months(I am not sure about the real period).

To make sure that you qualify before following my procedure below, you need to fist check if your name is in this list below.

Take time and look through this Google sheet to find your name!!!!

Another procedure that was used was the Steem Power, the higher the Steem Power the more tokens you receive.

Steps To Claim Palnet Tokens

1. Visit Steem Engine

You need to visit Steem engine , this is where a lot of Stem tokens are traded on.

2. Login To Steem Engine

Here you can choose Keychain Login or Steem connect, for me I used Steemconnect!

3. Go to the right corner of Steem Engine and you will see the Palnet Logo which you need to click on to redeem your tokens.

It took me some time(approx 30 mins) before that logo showed over there!!

4. Claim Tokens

Click on the logo and you be directed to a new tab that will pop up that will need you to login(with active key, do not use your master key, do not use your master key anywhere online.....) to your steem connect
