Two Wolves

Colored Pencil, watercolor, mixed media, encaustic, on cupboard door; 17" x 25", 12/19

I made this last night for my boyfriend, for our anniversary, which is 12/30/17. He actually saw one just like this and asked for it - here's the one he saw...

He wanted a copy - I don't have the capability to frame art, so I did it and then covered it in encaustic wax.

here's the statement -

I wish I had had more time - but today I am moving all my stuff from the common area into my room, so I had to just get it done last night - so I wish the placement of the letters was better, but it was do it or not - right then - no 2nd chances - oh well!

I put the full moon in this picture because to me this is a message to the subconscious - and that's what the moon represents - so I glued a metal circle on there and then used oil pastel and the heat gone to show the radiance.

Also the light wolf is in front - showing the choice.

I got my mojo for making art when it's for others - but for myself - still not really interested...
