You'll notice the title include the term confirmation bias. Basically if you start out with an idea (especially a conclusion), then look for evidence of it, you'll probably find it.

Much of the focus now is on the plague of locust traveling throughout Africa and now into China. A locust swarm can spread out 40 miles, and travel 100 miles a day, and eat an entire farm in just a matter of seconds. What separates locust from grasshoppers is wings. These "grasshoppers" can fly.
The problem could get 500x worse by summer. And if it is starting to spread throughout asia, what stops it from spreading into Europe? Hopefully the Bering strait is too cold and too far away keeping the locus out of north & south America and Australia. But maybe they will come here through ship. Remember in the USA we pay farmers not to grow food. I am not sure that this is a good idea-that might be like paying our farmers so we can't sell/give our food surplus to these countries being brought to ruin.

In Judeochristianity there were the 10 plagues of Egypt.

So let's explore these then and in the modern sense.

The Nile being red on such a scale luckily shows us there is abundant plant life. Maybe it is the deadly cyanobacteria.

As far as the water Quality. The water is still the main source of water for some 80 million people, despite it being heavily polluted, stinky, and full of sewage and factory waste. The people drinking it tend to have poor health. The fish are dying too.

2 ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs on your whole country. The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs. The frog pollution in Egypt has been in decline for a number of reported reasons. But elsewhere in the world, the poisonous Cane toad has become quite the pest; Namely Florida and Australia.

I don't really considered toads/frogs a pest myself, but the cane toad can kill dogs-maybe even humans. Also if I was driving in such an area, I wouldn't want to look at, nor be responsible for, the massacre of dead frogs in the road. They lay thousands of eggs at a time. So good luck trying to play the catholic church trying to stop them.

3 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.” They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came on people and animals. Other than broken windows and injured birds, the damage seems to be small. two years ago, it was a different story.

Outside of the polar regions, There are very few events that could cause darkness for such an extended period of time. About the only thing that could cause it would be a Volcanic eruption or maybe an yuge meteor/comet.

One observation is, God didn't quite favor the Jews who were vegetarian, had a fear of blood, or were opposed to killing animals considering the Passover.

A disease that would kill the first born would be unlikely. The one who carried this out was Azrael; the Angel of death. Similarly in the ancient days the pagans would sacrifice their first born to Molech. Today we have one child policies in China, and it is baby girls who get the axe. Only 2% of the USA works in agriculture where there is near true freedom. The rest are worked and taxed, and some sacrifice their first children to abortion to get ahead in our urbanized slave cult.

A prophet might say God is trying to prove his existence, to let us know he is God. It's hard to say that without thinking of tamtampamela, but I am not going to make the argument that God is Good. I would be lying to everyone including myself if I said God was Good.

But supposing God is sending a message to mankind. What message is God trying to send. What does he want us to do or not do. There are some universal laws that doesn't need necessarily divine intervention (cough, end abortion). The cultures that don't have babies will die off, be conquered, or enslaved-so Nature is perfectly capable of handling gay, trannys, ethots, waifus, cucks, incels, abortion, birth control, type people to extinction in a few generations. The American left is a culture of their own political death. South America, Europe, and much of north America have been let off easy. Why did Australia get hit with massive fires, dust storms, and hail? Much of the problems in the middle east seems that they haven't been or don't have the means to be good stewards of the environment. China...China hasn't been a good steward to the environment either. But china is torturing the people of Allah, and harvesting the organs of Muslims and the Fulan gong. And the Chinese owned American media are hostile to Epoch times owned by the Fulan Gong. (Is Justin Sun/Tron owned Steemit now owned by the Chinese?)The Chinese may be playing God by engineering biological weapons. Still Corona is nothing yet compared to staph or the ordinary flu, and scientist the world over likewise played God guiding staph's evolution, among others, through antibiotics. And what did those poor animals do to deserve God's wrath other than being man's food sources? Why should they be punished for the cruel ways that men treat them in life? To ensure that the survivors of the famine learns his lesson? How is that fair to animals? And in Closing, in regards to monkeys and bats (bush meat) they are not kosher. If more people adopted a vegetarian or Kosher diet, then Ebola and possibly Wuhan flu wouldn't have spread to humans. But maybe people will be dining on the desert locust for a while, and they just might be Kosher. Still not eating bugs.
