I even did a little bit of amazon's worker mturk program doing some transcribing for less than minimum wage when all was said and done, and I saw something about mining BTC. I downloaded some software that was supposed to let me join a mining pool, but I don't think it worked. It didn't seem like anything was coming of it, and it had taken hours already. My laptop didn't have a lot of power and I didn't really know what I was doing.

Als,o I have a memory of wanting to spend $1000 to buy 10 Bitcoin. At the time I was not sure how to explain all of this to my wife so I decided to hold off. No one wants to lose $1000. Sure wish I would have pulled the trigger on that one. My wife does too.
