One of the most underrated aspects of these blockchain blogging platforms has gotta be curating and the future of doing that here.

The media does it with clout nowadays but really society as a whole has been doing it since well probably forever. Life and progressing in life has a lot to do with curating if you think about it. Shadow banning is curating basically, but like the opposite if that makes sense.

Hiring people at a business is curating. NASA hiring kiss-ups and the best sheep, the best memorizers is curating. NASA would never hire a person that questions certain theories. The fact the Cowboys in NFL talk shows are talked about religiously for no logical reason is curating. Choosing/becoming friends with someone is curating. Clubs and societies and whose allowed in is curating.

The media and information control and what stories/narratives are pushed is curating.

Hive and Steem and Blurt and Hive-engine communities are helping the citizens of earth dictate what is curated and what is not. If any aspect of Hive and others should scare the mainstream media, it's curating just as much as creating.
