The damage the terrorists had caused over many years.
.

Yesterday the Chad Army went in and annihilated the Boko Haram who were based around the Lake Chad Basin. It is amazing that it has taken so long before anyone or any country did anything about it. This group has been running rampant since 2009.

One of the Boko Haram camps attacked yesterday.

In 2014 Boko Haram abducted 276 school girls from a boarding school in Nigeria yet the Nigerian Army didn't manage to achieve anything. Two weeks ago Boko Haram ambushed and killed over 100 Chadian soldiers finally creating a reaction. I think it shows how lax everyone has been as this was all over so quickly once it started.

Sweeping and mopping up.

Terrorist organisations have no chance against an organised army and this just proved a point. Creating terror and making a terrorist group seem more powerful than what it was with propaganda that kept this group in business for years.

It does kind of make you wonder why and possible corruption and who was benefiting from this so called war. Nigeria should have sorted this long ago and the excuse of the terrorists using Chad as a springboard doesn't wash. An Army goes in and sorts things out and doesn't stop until it is finished.

The President of Chad Idris Derby donned his Army uniform and went in with the attack.I don't know much about him, but he makes the Nigerians look like a laughing stock. The Nigerians should be embarrassed as not only did they sort the problem out they also found and freed Nigerian soldiers being held captive at the camp.

The top commander of Boko Haram was captured alive. He wont be alive for long though as the atrocities he has committed are pure evil.

What kind of Army has Nigeria got is not the problem , but I feel it is the ones who are ruling the country and making the decisions. An Army is only as strong as it is allowed to be and possibly they were under the control of what they could and couldn't do. Someone was benefiting from this war at the expense of the people. The Nigerians had paid $3 Million to free hostages and should never have even contemplated negotiating with them.

Just seems crazy that all it took was an ambush on the Chad Army and in a matter of weeks they have achieved this. The Chad President seems to have gained more power and respect from his actions now leaving the Nigerians thinking who they have in power right now. This scenario leaves more questions than answers and the truth has to come out. Who was supplying the weapons and were Government ministers involved?

Boko haram is a Nigerian governments tool, this is no news to most of us here. The worst part is the life of the innocent soldiers lost for nothing in battling the so called terrorists. If this boko haram leader were to be apprehended by the Nigerian army, chances are he will be ordered to be released. There have been countless situations of such. I'm glad the Chaldean army took the matters to their own hands. The Nigerian government should be thrown inside dustbin, it is a mess

I am sorry to hear that. The good thing is that the rest of the world can see this now and Chad will force them to now act differently. No wonder the leader said he is fighting Nigeria and Chad should not interfere. This is a bigger plan being played out using war as an excuse.
