It is Wednesday my deeds

Good day, everyone :3 I would like to start by giving a big thanks to @fulltimegeek for the delegation. I look forward to being able to give votes worth a few more pennies and getting other unique content out there for all of ze eyeballs. And another thank you to all of you who continue to show support. <3

This song goes out to you, sir.

Brownie points if you can guess what song it is. It's a classic.
Another week has gone by in this stressful August.
I just finished a "vacation," of sorts. As you can't exactly go anywhere, I got to sit at home and just hang out here. I was able to recharge my batteries. I even took a week off of caffeine. Mind you, I did have a frap or two, but that's sugar more than anything. So I'm excited to get back to work and producing more money. I'm going to try to be more vigilante of time. I do my very best...but the weeks get away from me and next thing I know, it's been 20 days..

Sadly, my schedule dictates I'm never alone and feel a little odd belting 70's lyrics at 9 in the morning. I look forward to a future with a little more privacy.
I have news for more projects in the future.

I'm going to cover 1 punk song a week. I found recording this 1976 classic was an excellent exercise for rhythm and simplicity. Oddly enough, there are so many punk legends still alive. I think my favorite is John Lydon {hope that's what he's called now?}

And lastly, Dead Rockstars is coming back and better than ever. So here's the problem:
Many rockstars will be born in the later half of the year and will die in the earlier part and vice versa.
I intended to get started this year but....I had to move twice, mardi gras, covid...aaaaand it's summer...
The good news is I'm going to prioritize properly. And since many rockstars are born November/December, I can start it correctly.
Here's the list of artists I have so far.
Any suggestions? Comment below!
No, I'm not doing Elvis. >:L Sorry.

{In order of Birthday}
Syd Barret
David Bowie
Janis Joplin
Kurt Cobain
Johnny Cash
Lou Reed
Karen Carpenter
Muddy Waters
Sid Vicious
Joey Ramone
Howlin' Wolf
Ian Curtis
John Lee Hooker
Buddy Holly
Ray Charles
Dee Dee Ramone
Darby Crash
Jimi Hendrix
Jim Morrision

And in order of death, {oddly enough Howling Wolf and David Bowie died on the same day. Also, John Lennon and Darby Crash basically died within 24 hours of each other.. O__O Not the same year. But. That's will require some serious caffine,}

Howlin' Wolf
David Bowie
Sid Vicious
Karen Carpenter
Buddy Holly
Kurt Cobain
Joey Ramone
Muddy Water
Ian Curtis
Dee Dee Ramone
Ray Charles
John Lee Hooker
Jim Morrison
Syd Barrett
Johnny Cash
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
Lou Reed
Darby Crash
John Lennon

It is now that I leave you. This shorty is just an appetizer. I have another song in the works. Hope to release it soon. I hope you're all experiencing a wonderful start to your September. It's going to start cooling off, and before you know it, this year will be behind us. I hope 2021 is better for all of us.
I've got big plans!
See you all soon.
Thank you all, once again, for the continued support <3

~ C.K.M.

I'm working on it! I wish that I wasn't so tone-deaf 😁

Thanks for the song and shout-out! 👍 May your delegation bring much HONEY to your life 🍯

ps. I'll reblog this post to see if someone else can figure it out before me. This is fun!

My musical repertoire is 💩 compared to a family like yours. I even attempted to cheat by looking up the Top 100 Billboard from 1976 and listened to almost all the songs. I had a feeling it was The Ramones but never heard that song before 😅
