Today I would like to introduce you to the original concept art of one of my most recent characters. His name is Jesang and he is an adventurous nomad, that traveler who has his name written in the prophecy of the Atlas.
On this occasion, I return in another chapter of Step by Step, which starts from the sketch to the final lineart. I hope you like it!
JESANG, The man of prophecy
1. Before starting, I put the sheet of paper in front of me.
2. I draw the base circle for the head and i begin then to move through disordered lines looking for the shape of the face I want.
3. I continue with the eyes, nose and mouth (these are responsible for showing the true feeling of the main character), in addition to drawing the hair.
4. I define the drawn features, and I add details in the hair and the face.
5. I conclude then with the concept art, highlighting details in the drawing as the shadows and facial features.
Having as final result, this adventurous nomad.
