HOLY BREAD Grinding and pricey.. but it's going to be fun!

Splinterlands may just get some real competition in terms of games!

It's been awhile since I advertised Holybread.io. I guess it's been playing and I forgot!

Anyways I jumped right in and found it necessary to buy at least a sword. You are provided a used one at 25% as the 'warrior class"

image.png

The marketplace is open only during the day (in-game) but there is an inventory sell list.

image.png

You can spend your gold upgrading your character's 5 perks.

Hidden taxes you should know about!

So I bought this wooden sword for $1.00 just a few minutes ago. Now just selling it for $1.00 would actually lose me money right off the bat unless I jack the price up more for what I purchased at.

Note: A fee of (10 Cent + 5%) will be deducted from the final sale price.

Perhaps this is an inflationary move; but you will have to account for it either way.

So far I'm choosing easy quests. You wait 10-12 minutes and open your rewards if you chose one without danger. You can skip the time by spending bread.

You net bread crumbs and gold after successful quest. Perhaps items will come down the pike.
I do not know as of yet what the bread crumbs do.

More games are popping up on the chain. Pricey ones at that.

Hi @bearbear613 I am glad you joined Holybread.

Just a few things that might help you proceeding in the game:

The item store is open 24/7. What you need to do is to click on that button on the bottom that says New Items for the items to be revealed. Once every 24 hours it is free for you to ask for new items. If you want to reroll items because you couldn't find anything useful you'll have to pay with Bread. The button will tell you how much it costs.

As for now Breadcrumbs don't have an in-game use case. Their only purpose for now is to reward players. Breadcrumbs are token you can transfer to Steem Engine when you are on your homescreen on Holybread. We will use 50% of the Steem we earn with the game and reward players. Once a week we'll use a certain percentage of the prize pool and buy back Breadcrumbs.

If you are curios to find out more details about the game you can read this article I posted yesterday: https://steemit.com/holybread/@auminda/how-to-play-holybread

Hi @bearbear613

I've noticed that we're both playing holybread and it seem that you were on my way :) (I play as @project.hope)

Hope you're enjoying playing holybread. I found this game quite entertaining. Perhaps it will get boring soon, but right now it's still loads of fun :)

What's your impression so far?

Yours,
Piotr
