"I have some concern that the velcro might not hold when I'm pushing brush and I might lose the saw. It was suggested I add a dummy cord to the saw, but there are safety reasons for not attaching a lanyard to a saw so I'm going to take the risk of losing the saw."
You know... there's always Duct Tape! Worked pretty good when I was in the Army lol... That Silky Pocket Boy 170 Saw is pretty slick... how long have you had that?

I've had that saw less than half a year. It's a pull cut saw so the rhythm is a bit different to my other saws. Gotta love that duct tape, though I'd love to get some sniper tape/100 mile tape too.
Oh yes... I remember that tape. Held my HMMWV together lol... I have never used that type of saw, though I was quite familiar with the Gerber Multi-tool...
