Olympics 2020 at Tokyo

Some of our school's groups are helping our students to plan their trip to the Olympics 2020 at Tokyo. So I have collected some information and resources for our teachers to use.

Please take note of these Sports that will take place and let the students know as they plan:

Aquatics (including swimming, diving and synchronized swimming, water polo)
Archery
Badminton
Baseball and Softball - will be held at the main venue of the Yokohama Stadium
Basketball
Boxing
Canoe / Kayak
Cycling - including Track, Road, Mountain Bike and BMX - Track cycling and mountain bike events will take place 120 kilometres away from Tokyo in Izu.
Equestrian
Fencing
Football (soccer)
Golf
Gymnastics (Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampolining)
Handball
Hockey
Judo
Karate - six kumite and two kata categories. To be held at the Nippon Budokan in central Tokyo.
Modern Pentathlon
Rowing
Rugby 7s
Sailing
Shooting
Skateboarding - men and women's street and park skateboarding events
Sport Climbing - bouldering and lead and speed combined climbing
Surfing - men's and women's shortboard surfing, to be held about one hour from Tokyo at Shida Shita Point
Table Tennis
Taekwondo
Tennis
Track & Field
Triathlon
Volleyball - indoor and beach volleyball
Weightlifting
Wrestling (Greco-Roman and Freestyle)

It is good to fill in with all these information and start planning now so that we don't miss out on the Games and get a seats for them. Also it helps to have some travels planning and get the accommodation now.
