How to freeze fresh parsley

Everybody loves fresh herbs in their food!
But we cannot always have them... Sometimes we can use them in the form of powder or if you have them stored in the freezer.

Recently I had the pleasure to experience in sun drying tomatoes

Now I will show you how I froze my fresh parlsley

This is my parsley before it started getting yellow

I knew I had to store it or I would through it away soon...

I cut it using special scissors

Make sure that you clean thoroughly and get rid of any garbage or yellowish pieces

Use salt and water, wash and rinse them very very well

Let the parsley dry...

And put the parsley in small bags without cutting it. Remove all the air and put in the freezer

This allows the parsley to remain green and not turn black. It should not have humidity or air.

Ps Today I tasted frozen parsley on my carbonara (but was too hungry to remember shooting it). It was green and tasty
