New hobby loading
I have started a new hobby, I visited a shooting camp and I practice shooting!
It was never something I had in mind or something I imagined doing, but here I am.
After a few decades, I find myself doing things I would never think of in the past
Martial arts, (competitive) shooting were never in my goals...
But ideas/interests/goals and plans can change for a number of reasons
The reasons is something not worth mentioning at the moment
But the important of all is to make the most of every experience that comes your way...
I will get back soon regarding this sport, till then, enjoy these images of my yesterday visit

I never thought I would enjoy it.
Apart from the fun of it, I think it is pretty useful to know what a gun looks like and how to be safe around it.
I live in an island where most of the people living, have gun(s) at home ...
It’s a good idea to have this extra skill and be used to loud noises!
I did learn to shoot hand guns with some friends at college years ago! I haven’t touch a gun for ages. But I think it will come to me if I had to handle it. But I hope I would never have the need to do that! LoL
You might need a gun for finding food one day!!

That's super great @katerinaramm ! It is a hobby I also plan to start as soon as possible, along with martial arts that I have already been practicing for some years! Did you start with a shooting school, or a team of friends? Looking forward to reading more news on this and I wish you a great start and progress! 😺

Απαντώ στα Ελληνικά γιατί για το συγκεκριμένο μου είναι πιο εύκολο.
Ξεκινώ με έναν Σύλλογο και έχω ήδη κάνει δύο φορές. Δεν είναι εύκολο, αλλά είναι σίγουρα συναρπαστικό και από την άλλη πολύ χρήσιμο για διάφορους λόγους...
Ποιά πολεμική τέχνη εξασκείς εσύ; Και γιατί σκέφτεσαι να αρχίσεις σκοποβολή;

Καλημέρα Κατερίνα! Τέλεια, καλή αρχή και εξέλιξη! Σίγουρα έχει τις δυσκολίες του, αλλά είναι μεγάλη η επιβράβευση.
Για εμένα είναι ένας συνδυασμός αυτοπεποίθησης ότι μπορώ να χειριστώ όπλο/ να αντιμετωπίσω κάποια κατάσταση ανάγκης (πολύ τραβηγμένο βέβαια και θέλει και πολύ δουλειά στο κομμάτι της ψυχολογίας και της ψυχραιμίας - ετοιμότητας - αυτοκυριαρχίας κάτι τέτοιο, αλλά ποτέ δε ξέρεις), συν της αίσθησης επίτευξης, αλλά και το ότι είναι συναρπαστικό όπως λες! Και πολύ καλός τρόπος να ξεδίνεις από την καθημερινότητα!
Έκανα παλιότερα για ένα μικρό διάστημα, αλλά δεν είχα μεγάλη πρόοδο και έχω ξεχάσει τα περισσότερα γιατί ήμουν πιο μικρή και έκανα πολλά πράγματα ταυτόχρονα, μόλις καταφέρω θα ξαναπάω σίγουρα!
Από πολεμικές τέχνες τα τελευταία 2 χρόνια κάνω Ninjutsu και τελευταία πειραματίζομαι με Καράτε, Combat Jiu Jitsu & Judo (στην ίδια σχολή, θα κατασταλλάξω σταδιακά ποιες θα κρατήσω). Γενικά μου αρέσουν από μικρή πολύ οι πολεμικές τέχνες, σε αντίθεση με την ήρεμη φύση μου και την τάση μου για διπλωματία και ειρηνικές διαδικασίες, πάντα με συνάρπαζαν όλα αυτά! 😸
