Drawing people's looks and expressions... Dibujando las miradas y expresiones de las personas.

Welcome drawing lovers and today I want to present a new work in realistic drawing where I return to approach the elderly to draw their expressions, showing their long journey of years of experiences, teachings and memories reflected in their looks.

Bienvenidos amantes del dibujo y hoy les quiero presentar un nuevo trabajo en dibujo realista donde vuelvo acercarme a las personas de la tercera edad para dibujar sus expresiones, mostrando su largo camino de años de vivencias, enseñanzas y recuerdos reflejados en sus miradas.

Using a photograph as a reference and with the patience and hours necessary to obtain a desired and great result, we began to trace the face with a mechanical pencil with HB graphite leads creating the eyes, nose and lips. Then with the blur would come the creation of the skin creating layers of graphite and expanding making a texture and with the moldable rubber detailing the lines of expressions, wrinkles and pores with their shades of light and shadow. Then with the same procedure and the same tools we work their hands creating the different gradients and different shades of light and shadow in order to give a touch of realism to the work. Then some final details like a dark background with pencil 6b and finish this portrait.

Usando una fotografía como referencia y con paciencia y horas necesarias para obtener un resultado deseado y estupendo comenzamos a trazar el rostro con un portaminas con minas de grafito HB creando los ojos, nariz y labios. Luego con el difumino vendría la creación de la piel creando capas de grafito y expandiendo haciendo una textura y con la goma moldeable detallando las lineas de expresiones, arrugas y poros con sus tonos de luces y sombras. Luego con el mismo procedimiento y las misma herramientas trabajamos sus manos creando los distintos degradados y diferente tonos de luces y sombras para así lograr darle un toque de realismo al trabajo. Luego unos detalles finales como un fondo oscuro con el lapiz 6b y dar por terminado este retrato.
