Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️

The general technique of this drawing was characterized mainly in the use of the airbrush, composed of multiple layers of shadows and shines with different opacities and modes of mixtures, between normal, multiply darkness and add luminosity, the design is divided between sections, body, hair, tail, background and luminous effects.

La técnica general de este dibujo se caracterizó principalmente en el uso del pincel aerógrafo, compuesta de múltiples capas de sombras y brillos con diferentes opacidades y modos de mezclas, entre normales, oscuridad multiplicar y luminosidad añadir, el diseño está dividido entre secciones, cuerpo, cabello, cola, fondo y efectos luminosos.

Below is a series of images where you can see the progress of the drawing with their respective duration. Execution time of 8 hours. Each section of the drawing took an average of 80 minutes to complete.

A continuación, se muestra una serie de imágenes donde se puede observar el avance del dibujo con su respectiva duración. Tiempo de ejecución comprendido de 8 horas. Cada sección del dibujo tomo un promedio de 80 minutos en completarse.

We begin the drawing with a sketch, then we opaque the layer and we define the delineation of the drawing with all the details that compose it.

Iniciamos el dibujo con un boceto, luego opacamos la capa y definimos el delineado del dibujo con todos los detalles que lo componen.

With the felt-tip pen we apply the base color to the character, we slightly add general shadows to the body and hair, blurring them a little.

Con el rotulador aplicamos el color base al personaje, agregamos levemente sombras generales, al cuerpo y cabello difuminando un poco las mismas.

Detail the hair, trace a base layer of shading with the airbrush, in another layer and using the pencil are placed shining and repeating the steps to achieve the expected result.

Detallamos el cabello, se traza una capa base de sombreado con el aerógrafo, en otra capa y usando el lápiz se colocan brillos difuminando y repitiendo los pasos hasta lograr el resultado esperado.

We go on to define facial features, from the mouth, eyes and eyebrows, add another layer of shading and detail the silhouette of the character.

Pasamos a definir los rasgos faciales, desde la boca, los ojos y cejas, agregamos otra capa de sombreado y detallamos la silueta del personaje.

With the dragon brush we add the texture of the glue, we apply the last layers of shadows and shines, using the method of mixing layers, multiply for the shadows and add for the shines.

Con el pincel dragón agregamos la textura de la cola, aplicamos las últimas capas de sombras y brillos, usando el método de mezcla de capas, multiplicar para las sombras y añadir para los brillos.

Now to finish we design our nice abyssal Flanders, and add luminescence effects using the shine point brush.

Ahora para finalizar diseñamos a nuestro agradable Flanders abisal, y agregamos efectos de luminiscencia usando el pincel punto de brillo.

✴Bonus / Bono

As a bonus, the image was modified to a night theme, first applying a dark blue color to the background, then a low opacity top layer of the same dark blue, and erasing certain areas with the eraser in airbrush mode to obtain brightness.

Como bono se modificó la imagen a una temática nocturna, primero aplicando un color azul oscuro en el fondo, luego una capa superior a baja opacidad del mismo azul oscuro, y borrando ciertas zonas con el borrador a modo aerógrafo para obtener brillos.

The design of the drawing consists of a total of 25 layers, these are distributed in sections following an order or hierarchy for proper visualization. The following images show a summary of them grouped according to similar characteristics.

El diseño del dibujo consta de un total de 25 capas, estas están distribuidas en secciones siguiendo un orden o jerarquía para su correcta visualización. En las siguientes imagenes se muestra un resumen de las mismas agrupadas según características similares.

Different enlarged areas of the drawing are shown, through a GIF composed of 6 images. It is created by combining in separate parts two images of the same file with different zoom.
