The beginning of something great

With only recently getting back into Cities Skylines and having made a mistake in 2 previous games only reaching short points, there is a lot I learn as I go along when playing this game to refresh what I already knew, from past plays.The game has always been appealing to me for the fact you have to really manage it like a real city with traffic congestion, power, water/sewage, doctors/fire/police etc and much more to make it fun for many plays with a variety of different possible builds you can come up with for your cities.

From a freshly started game you will see in this first episode, me working out how to best place roads, housing, shops, industrial, my electricity poles, water and sewage piping and work on getting towards the first goal of profiting in my initial town before I can move building to the next spot in this first area.

I liked the map I chose for this play due to a variety of factors. First is the ability to build across the river with a bridge, turning it into just being a plain old big city like a big open land space would give, to providing a smaller town for my initial period, to moving into something nicer across the river, plus the highway going where it is allows building a bridge over the top, into the next part of that section for another whole new spot for whatever I decide to put there.
