Why I love Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
When I first saw bits and pieces from a Youtube video of someone playing this game (so I didn't see too much but just enough) I could instantly tell this was one I would love no matter what.
You start off wayyy in the past as an ape, one that has to slowly progress through evolution to which you will learn about the various types of plants, tools, uses of those tools, how to live and fight and much more with the end goal of becoming human.
The game is unique in it's own way just for the fact that you get chucked into the world with basic tutorials on the controls and what they do, which prompts you to test each out and start learning what to do, how to learn new tools and crafting and a progression system which I find to be done quite well and helps to make this an amazing game.
In this first part I will start learning and exploring while trying to understand how I play the game, how to improve on what I learn and start unlocking tools and intelligence of the world around me.
I would advise anyone who likes to find unique, different games that aren't like the usual things brought out, with great gameplay and graphics and an overall longevity to it!

I got multiple more videos to make and still a while to go on the game, but overall if you like the look of it so far or check out additional YT videos for bits and pieces, you can decided like I did.

I saw Ancestors on the store (I think it's Epic exclusive?) and found it... interesing. Not my cup of tea but maybe watching it played makes more more interested.
It is a little more niche as it is a big change to all the usual games you see out these days that people play. Either way I love it and games like these help me enjoy more of them, as I get bored of the usual stuff brought out. :)
