The Golden Horizon with a Chernobyl like feeling

avatar

Hi there Steemians.

Whilist riding home on the motorcycle today I caught a glimpse of the golden red sun peaking through the horizon behind the closed and the earthy mass, instantaneously I felt a nostalgic feeling and ofcourse I had to stop and get a snapshot of that beauty. Anyways back to the nostalgia feeling.. Id not say its something I literally experienced in life but it did take me back to when I was younger when I played all these end of the world games such as Fallout, Shadow of Chernobyl. Those of you who gamed would catch my drift, pretty much a nuclear fallout type of game.

Anyway with the sun peeking behind and the power lines running across our farm to the closeby power station and then off into the horizon made for a really beautiful photo. Probably would not have looked the same without the clouds giving that final touches of effects.

Ok so this might be hard to notice or even see what I experienced. This cloud looked like it was busy erupting, almost like a volcano only without all the bad stuff that comes with it. It felt like it was towering high above the ozone layers with the top looking like a bomb dropped and smoke puffing out of the topside, well snowy white smoke hehe. It was a very beautiful sight indeed. Yeah yeah I am a freak for the clouds. Even my goose is mocking me nowadays whenever I point out a cloud I like shed say what I always say... It looks so majestic but in a sarcastic loving way.

Same cloud with a wide view photo. It makes it look somewhat different but meh I thought why not just add it, who cares.

Some quick snapshots of the rain we had this morning added with a dramatic filter.

It might not look like it rained alot in these photos but trust me it was pouring down like wildfire on us, I started to think it was never going to stop raining, well throughout the day it rained but this morning was something else. I drove through about a 4 kilometer stretch of mud road that was completely covered with water and I was spinning through it on 2 wheels. My my it was so much fun I swear id do it again anyday.. Well just not while its raining hehe but definitely straight after the rain stops. I was smart enough to take dry clothes with me to work, otherwise it might have been an uncomfortable day for me.
