Never underestimate the ocean!
What a way to relax anchored out deep in the sea! See how laid back that one guy is!
Maybe they told their wives they were going out to a business meeting hahaha.
I planned to show you the natural art and beauty of the ocean today and just thought to open with this joke in the picture above, as you will see how it turned out in the picture below Lol.
A mistake of epic proportions hahaha.
Let's have a look!
Ooops, they awoke with a bang as the high tide was coming in and I think they forgot to lift the anchor Lol.
They did eventually manage to get out safely, but it was a laugh to see them grabbing for the oars!
Now all of the scenes below are pictures and not paintings.
Just the natural beauties of the ocean!
Every now and then the waves would wash over the beach leaving behind a skin of water, that would beautifully reflect the blue skies!
That "Hangklip" stone that we passed the other day on our way to the penguins can be seen here from our local beach and it is about 30 kilometers away.
We traveled all along the bottom of those mountains on the beach road and we passed the "Hangklip" at the end of the mountain range!
I imagine the slanted rocks here to be the foundation of a mountain that existed a long time ago.
Amazing to see how the power of the water cuts the rocks into slabs.
A mountain stream that cuts across the beach here on its way to the ocean!
I liked the colors in this area!
Standing in the shallows of the waves, one can see that there is much sea life here!
This is in the sand just below the water surface.
Maybe the sea snails think that they are all Picassos hahaha!
And of course, as always some birds in my posts!
This is a couple of "Kelp Gulls"
As they circled us I think that I got each one of them good Lol.
I don't know who is he or she, but they are beautiful in flight!
One of the ultra comfort, private apartment blocks at the beachfront!
Finally I leave you with this shot taken when we arrived back home!
And That's All Folks!
I love these little walks at the ocean, as there is always something interesting to be seen, and even if not at times, the supreme beauty is enough to stroke my soul. Best of all, it is free and one can just let go of all the junk in the head.
I cannot walk as far as I used to, due to some leg nerves trapped in my back by damaged spine vertebrae's, but at least I can still walk and I am not complaining, as the beauty and sounds of the ocean are so worth it.
It is a warm and welcoming place that regularly helps us to get rid of any hang ups!
We are sad because a cat in the complex caught one of the lovely little sunbirds, but even this hurt can be soothed away by the ocean, as long as one knows how to let go. I would advise any troubled soul to go and sit on a rock and to watch the ocean. To listen to it's whispers and to hear it's ancient song. A healing song that has inspired thousands of stories and poems. "Sing then for me O mighty ocean, sing your mighty song of love, peace and death" (My own words)
We hope that you have enjoyed the pictures!

Being on the beach for an hour or two was the highlight on my week, of late we walk in the park with my husband and sister-in-law both battling on the sand.
Perhaps some rain on a Saturday will make it firm enough to go down on a Sunday, let's hope... Enjoyed the lovely beaches down your way with you today Stephen.

You are so right Lady Joan, "battling in the sand" to think that once we used to run on it hahaha.
I get down to the shallows as quick as I can, as the sand is firmer there.
The slope is my difficulty, as due to the bike prang, my left leg is a bit shorter than the right leg.
So after a while of walking it becomes a real struggle, as the back and the legs enter into a screaming competition hahaha.
Blessings!
All the bangs in life eventually catch up "Die Ouderdom Doktor" comes to mind....
No idea who he is, but I definitely have to make an appointment to see him for advice about all of the new things that assails me when I awake in the mornings Lol.
Funny thing is that at night when I get into bed, everything is fairly well and in some familiar conditions, but in the mornings new things pop up out of the blue. I call them midnight gremlims, as they work when I am asleep Lol.
Blessings!
Blame the gremlins always good, never that misspent youth, tumbling of go-carts, late motor bikes, even had a fight with a truck in a sports car..... yes most definitely gremlins!
Hahaha, and I bet so many other incidents my friend. Best to let sleeping gremlins lie Lol.
Blessings!

Beautiful! I will buy one of those ultra confort appartments when Steem Ultra moons! lololll
Right, so we will soon see you here then Hahaha.

I love what those sea snails do on the sand. It is really cool. All your photos are, as always, gorgeous, but that building! It makes me a bit nauseous to think of living in it. give me a small cottage on a body of water anyday. Not that.
Hahaha, that building will never see us my friend, not even if steem moons.
I just had to show it for the city slickers.
We are the barefoot, jeans and T-Shirt types that will not be allowed in there Lol.
Amazing how the sea snails paint the sand with their movements.
Glad that you liked the photos and thank you for the kind words!
Blessings!
