Geko mudando su piel.

Hola amigos.


La semana pasada me quedé unos días en casa de mis abuelos antes de empezar las clases y como les he comentado en mis otra publicaciones, allá hay muchos animalitos para ver. Esos días conseguí un Geko, aquí le decimos "limpia casas" porque ellas se comen los insectos que aparezcan, como hormigas, polillas, arañas, moscas. Este geko estaba sin su cola y pude agarrarlo con facilidad.

A los 2 días de tenerlo conmigo, me sorprendió que estaba mudando la piel, pensé que eso solo lo hacían las culebras, pero al parecer todos los reptiles o la mayoría, mudan la piel. Entonces lo solté para que terminara su proceso de mudar la piel.

Los gekos son inofensifos y nerviosos, cuando ellos sienten algún peligro sueltan su cola, mi mamá me explicó que lo hacen para que el animal que los esté persiguiendo se entretenga con la cola que queda moviéndose y ellos puedan escapar. Lo bueno es que luego les vuelve a crecer la cola.
