Agree to disagree, when you know you are right.

Most of the times there will be situations where we can't disclose the reasons why we doing some thing or traveling in some way in our life.

Because we most of the times fear to share goals with people to avoid them to look at us if we failed them to succeed.

We try to keep secrets may be to avoid embraassment or to let the people know only after getting near the things.

So when some starts arguing and pulled you in to a discussion, check whether the person knows whole story about the topic or not.

They can go on to preach or discuss why you are wrong with out knowing why you are doing the things or keep doing.

Some times we indulge in a long discussion and suddenly other person states he don't know that or he is saying it from personal experience.

This is not only time waste but also effects on your confidence to deal with things and again.
Like previously when the discussion is going on, in the middle you doubt yourself whether you are right or wrong.

It's also comes under manipulation of your thoughts and views which decrease your self-esteem and pushes you under stress.

That's where you need to realise the importance of coming out of discussion and believe in your self. Agree to the person and go on your way.

Most of these discussions are not going to help your life any way and only harm indirectly your mental peace.

Agree to disagree is one of the fine methods to practice when ever you are in like above situations to get away from the discussions and save yourself.

This not only give mental peace but also helps you to maintain your stand on your points at the same time shows your dignity.

It's like you are honouring the relation over the arguments, different perspectives. May be we don't agree forever but we can move on with same relation with out stuck at the same point.
