[CR] ArtVenture contest- “Climate change”
Hello! Today I want to show you my work for the Art-Venture Traditional Art Contest.
Theme on this week is “Climate change”
In my first enty, I decided drawed topic of global warming and extinction penguins.
Pfotos of the drawing process:
Studies show that the number of emperor penguins may reduce by the end of this century by 50–70% due to a decrease in the area of ice cover.
A reduction in their population is already now - last year, in one of the 40 thousandth animal populations, only two cubs survived - the reason was climate change and human actions.
These frightening facts make you think, "What can I personally do right now?"
- To start, reduce the use of car rides.
Compared to walking, cycling or public transport, a car is much polluting.
-Reduce the number of flights, because the aircrafts operate on fossil fuels, and pollute air.
-It is necessary to stop using fossil fuels, switch to renewable energy sources - water and wind, and rebuild forests.
A new study by Swiss scientists says that restoring global forests is "the best available solution to climate change." Researchers say that plant trees on a 900 million hectares of land (this is approximately the area of the continental United States), you can extract from the atmosphere about two-thirds of the amount of CO2 emitted by humanity. And this is 205 billion tons.
Many scientists say that mankind has the last chance to save the planet - 12 years before irreversible changes.
Everyone should give a thought and do whatever is necessary to save the Earth.
Perhaps, then we won’t have to tell our grandchildren that we lived at a time when animals still existed...

Qué bonito dibujo el que hoy nos regalas, es impresionante tu manera de plasmar la imaginación en un papel. Los pingüinos son aves muy exóticas y elegantes, ya que su hermoso pelaje hace estilo de un traje. Muchos de ellos debido al calentamiento global duran poco tiempo de vida, ya que están acostumbrados a frío donde vive, también se conoce que la grasa de su cuerpo los hace inmune al frio. Son animales muy lindos y me gusta la representación que hiciste porque son muy hogareños, cuidan y protegen mucho a su familia, felicidades por tu hermoso dibujo es realmente colorido y muy llamativo.

It is nice that you decided to do a drawing dedicated to "Climate change" topic. It is difficult to imagine what to create but I think there are many subjects around us. Few years ago we were not sure if it is a problem and thought for us that this is maybe that we will not experience in our live. Recently seeing that heat of summer and melting glaciers and even Greenland that is really becoming green losing its ice cover, that makes us to wake up.
The life of our planet is in danger such as Penguins who are losing their place to live, if it is hot for us it is much hotter for them. Nicely presented and very colorful drawing :)

It is a beautiful drawing, very moving that brings many emotions to my heart. Climate change is a serious issue, in recent years it has increased and will continue unfortunately if we do not try to make changes to try to counteract that.
Hopefully such a situation does not happen to that beautiful family of penguins
