Digital portrait-probably my best work till now
when i started drawing this one it took me more than half an hour to get a clean line sketch, it wasn't an exact match to the reference photo but i was happy. i started painting this last night. when i started coloring it felt like i wasn't going to be able to do this. it felt like that half an hour of sketching might have been a waste.
i got so confused with all the colors and if you look at the process shots you will know why i thought i couldn't do this.
then in the morning i started this again. this time i was patient and i told myself that i am not going to give it up untill i spend at least an hour on it. after an hour i realize exactly how to approach this painting and so i kept working.
and i am really happy with how this turned out. i didn't focus much one the dress though.
it took a long time so there is a few more screenshots than usual.

Im also saving for a digital tablet to draw. My friend has an ipad pro and it's so much fun to illustrate on it.
I would love to have an ipad pro, but they are so much more expensive than display tablet.so i will have to compromise and sit on my desktop to paint, that is assuming i will be able to afford one....

Wonderful portrait! The eyes are my favorite part, I think she is seeing something interesting. The horse looks very natural, even as you see the changes in tones that occur when the light hits the hair.
