Lo maravilloso de cada país son las costumbres que la componen, en este caso Venezuela se rodea de una inmensidad de tradiciones, una de ellas es la gaita zuliana, cuando a un venezolano le dicen NAVIDAD se traduce indiscutiblemente a gaitas, hallacas y tiempo en familia. Y hablar de GAITA es transportarnos a el estado donde nació la gaita, para ese estado es algo distinto, algo que constituye una manifestación auténtica del folclor regional; es la expresión franca de los sentimientos populares del Zulia.

La gaita son sinónimos de devoción, fiesta e identidad regional, que al repique de las tamboras, con la armonía del cuatro, el rugir del furro, el chillar de la charrasca y el rocío de las maracas, todos juntos inmortalizados en la memoria histórica de nuestra identidad nacional, porque les digo ya no es solo del Zulia, sino de toda Venezuela.
