Autumn Storm Coming Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Autumn is rainy season in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and we are in it now. It rains here for some time each afternoon for most of the year, but we kick it up a notch in fall.

The rains come much more heavily, and last longer at this time of year. The normal thunder and lightening is much more intense. I’ve lived in the tropics a few times and places in my life. When you are not here, you cannot appreciate the intensity of the weather.

This photo was taken at two in the afternoon as a storm was on its way. I work facing my balcony window and when the light drops when it should be light, I know to go out and take a look at the sky.

This post is my first of three entries for the @ntopaz AUTUMN SCENERY Contest. If I was to take normal landscape shots, you would think we were on the brink of summer after a rainy spring. Everything is intensely green now as the rains make everything grow.
