Sunflower Lights

Hello to all dear friends.
Welcome back to my blog.
Today I share with you a watercolor painting that has as the subject my imagined interpretation of sunflowers.

In Italy it is a full winter and as you imagine I do not have the opportunity to find sunflowers and then I invented them.

I started by wetting the paper well, without drawing.

I tried to represent the shades and colors characteristic of sunflowers, inside a light purple and cobalt blue background.

The composition has very light points that enhance the colors of sunflowers, some just hinted at by brush strokes.

The transparency and spraying effects that create watercolors help highlight the brightness of the composition.

I tried to pin impressions of colored lights, as sunflowers look in nature.

Luci di girasoli

Ciao a tutti cari amici.
Ben tornati sul mio blog.
Oggi condivido con voi un dipinto ad acquarello che ha come soggetto una mia interpretazione immaginata di girasoli.

In Italia è inverno pieno e come immaginate non ho la possibilità di reperire dei girasoli e allora me li sono inventati.

Sono partito bagnando per bene il foglio, senza disegno.

Ho cercato di rappresentare le tonalità ed i colori caratteristici dei girasoli, dentro uno sfondo viola chiaro e blu cobalto.

La composizione ha dei punti molto chiari che esaltano i colori dei girasoli, alcuni appena accennati da tratti di pennello.

Gli effetti di trasparenza e nebulizzazioni che creano gli acquarelli aiutano nell'evidenziare la luminosità della composizione.

Ho cercato di dipinngere delle impressioni di luci colorate, come appaiono i girasoli nella natura.
