Have u heard about that fucking crazy news?
A deaf man filed a lawsuit against that big firm of our industry. He complained that he cannot feel what he was looking.
Finally this man will be a millionar and help his community instead..

Access to online content by those with disabilities is going to be an ongoing trend. PornHub points out that they do have a closed captioning section. My guess is the videos he wants to watch aren't in the closed captioning section. He probably wants all videos to be eligible for closed captioning. Could be another revenue stream for PornHub to have an advertiser sponsor closed captioning.
I think it is wise to add accessibility functionality to large trafficked sites like that so that all visitors regardless of disability can enjoy the content. You're enlarging your pool of potential premium users that way. Lastly, its really hard for me to feel sorry for PornHub (MindGeek) who built their empire by pirating pay content and destroying the adult industry so they could take it over...

I think it's hysterical quite honestly. As someone that has been a Professional Producer in this Industry for the past 15 years, I can tell you that Pornhub has built their entire business off the backs of people like me. The Industry was far better before they came along. So I don't feel bad for them at all.
The only thing that we do have to watch for here though, is if the guy actually wins the Lawsuit. Because if he does, that could change things in a big way for anyone that owns an adult platform, that is selling videos in any type of way.
That is very doubtful though.
I'm not an Attorney. But as someone that has taken plenty of Law classes and also had a friend that practiced this type of Law, I can also tell you that this is a real stretch. I'd be pretty shocked if it goes anywhere. Pornhub will probably just pay this guy a few bucks to make him go away. If the guy gets anything at all.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was not created so that people could watch Porn. It was created for things like wheelchair ramps for public restrooms, equal opportunity in the workplace, etc.
The closed caption aspects of the law apply only for the TV Networks for the most part. And Netflix now as well.
I suspect that the only reason it's even made news in the first place, is because it's quite an entertaining story.

I was very fortunate. Started back at a time when anyone doing halfway decent content could earn well over six figures a year without even working too hard to do it. The internet itself was still a baby back then. But most people I've known through the years, have not survived. Pornhub has killed everyone.
