I didn't know the author share need to be a 2ç and that it applies to comments as well.

Before I wasn't sure if the new 50/50 split is bad. There where advantages and disadvantages.

Now, with this new knowledge I can make my mind up: The disadvantages predominate.

I will probably continue to upvote and at 100% as even an 100% upvote is only worth 0.018 SBD. But for those who git the upvote it means that they get nothing. And I won't get any curation rewards either.

But that's just me. I fear with little to no incentive for new accounts usage will go down. More accounts abandoned then new accounts created.

Users selling the little STEEM they have. STEEM price falling.

Some might invest it into Steem-Engine token as their hoping for a higher payout. But the Steem-Engine token depend on the STEEM price as well.
