The most famous of all the natural wonders of Abkhazia is the alpine lake Ritsa, fabulously beautiful, clean, magical. Its length is almost 2 km, and its depth is about 150 m. The lake is so transparent that its greenish waters are visible as much as 10 m. Ritsa is located in the north-west of Abkhazia. This is a beautiful reserve with an area of almost 40 thousand hectares. It’s easy to imagine what a natural diversity it is!
