Couple things that would help Steem and we don't have...

Here are my thoughts and nothing more.

I will just cut to the chase.

We need a downloadable wallet for windows available on steemit.com. Think about it from an investor's perspective. Imagine you were somebody with millions sitting around who had just found out about this website and had no clue about any other front-ends. Websites are not wallets. Not saying there are no tools available like the one I'm talking about, because I'm not sure. But I do know there's no such thing on steemit.com. Why???

We all know how complicated this place can be for newcomers, so we should try and look at things from a beginner's point of view. Wouldn't you, as a newcomer who knows little to nothing about the Steem blockchain, feel a lot more safe to invest in Steem if you were given the option to download and store your tokens on your desktop? I'm sure the fact that there's no such option on steemit.com is a big NO for some stacked folks out there.

We also need to provide people with the option to buy and sell Steem for fiat directly on steemit.com, without having to depend on third parties. All services available right now are cool, but I'm sure this is something that would encourage investment and make Steem stand out among other projects. Nobody likes trading and withdrawal fees anyway. Why would the top players do? This would also help bring in more cash inflows. Think about it.

We would also benefit from extensive, descriptive official steemit.com tutorials on YouTube. I can only find a few, and it saddens me to see that there are no actors involved. Just voices and slides, as boring as it gets. Our favourite blockchain is a complex concept; we need to be able to explain to the masses how things work in a simplified manner.

To be fair, I know that many awesome individuals and communities have been doing their best to provide such content on various mainstream social networks, but it's not enough in my humble opinion. It would be much better if it were official. We need steemit.com to step up their marketing game.

Of course, these are just my personal thoughts. I've been thinking about those three key points raised in this post, and I thought I'd share with you. Would be nice to read your feedback in the comments below.
