Meal programs for children have been suspended in some school districts because of the civil unrest that has been unfolding in cities all over the country.

This has meant that some kids would have difficulty finding something to eat, without being able to access the meals they get at school. There might be many other businesses in their community that has also recently been destroyed, further decreasing their options for food.

When one school in Minneapolis recently asked for help with food donations, the community showed up big time.

They ended up getting thousands of donations.

You can see from the images above that people have been dropping off hundreds of bags of groceries. There are many people just waiting for a good and legitimate cause to support and it won't take long before the donations rapidly come rolling in.

Volunteers say they have seen plenty of love people are showing for each other and that this is a great outpouring of support from the community to help one another in this great time of need, with many struggling.

It's a big response after only asking for help with a few dozen meal kits for the kids.

Traffic to drop off donations was bumper to bumper in multiple directions, people couldn't wait to come by and do what they could to help and to give to others. The line of cars looking to drop off donations had reportedly stretched at least 14 blocks.

They now clearly have more than enough and will looking to pay those donations forward, whatever is left that they don't need. School officials say they are overwhelmed by the grace the community has shown and they've urged the kids to come by and pick up whatever items they might need.

That's a great demonstration of love and care that the community has shown towards its young citizens. If all countries would labor do such good acts then the world would be a better place for every human being.

Thanks so much, @doitvolunatarily for sharing.
