These photos are from my recent autumn colors collection I have been sharing this past week, and these are the ones that I think best represent my favorites. They really capture the play of light, shadows, and colors, and the way they play together through the leaves on the Autumn trees.

I may not have the best photo or the best camera skills, but sometimes nature is so skilled in creating the best material to work with, you can't go wrong.

Actually many things can go wrong! My camera has no manual focus, probably a few lens scratches, and often sucks out all of the lively colors from my photos by replacing them with foggy gray highlights and shadows. Using my professional experience balancing photo colors used for making photogrammetry ortho maps, in this case, I restored my photos to the best of my ability by applying a few clipping tweaks here and there.

These ones below were obviously captured at night. I had to park my car in an empty parking lot to capture these shots at the right moment. Only the trees growing near the street lights are visible when it's this dark.

Location: At home, around Nike Business Parks in the Portland Metro Area, and near Washington Square Mall, in Oregon.
