NEOXIAN CITY PHOTO CHALLENGE - WEEK : #12 - ❄Lighthouses ❄
Ocracoke Lighthouse on Ocracoke Island in North Carolina was built by Massachusetts builder named , Noah Porter in 1823. This is looking at the lighthouse from a different perspective i quite like the nature mixed in with the lighthouse. This lighthouse stands at 75 feet tall and has 86 steps from the lighthouse base to the 4th order Fresnel lens at the top. It is a fact that the Ocracoke Island Lighthouse is the second oldest in the United States and is still in operation as of today.
