Mari is a Spanish defender who plays for Brazilian side Flamengo. He will be signed on loan for the rest of the seasoning with the possibility to buy him if he plays well in the Premier League.
Mari is 26-year-old and he is well known to Mikel Arteta having spent three years at City before finally joining the Brazilian side Flamengo last summer.
This should be a good backup for us because we are very lacking at the back and a good centre back can help do justice to our poor backline.
