Getting Fit

(Edited)

Went to the gym again today, did cardio to warm up, ran 2.5 miles in under 18 mins.

Next I did a 30 min HIIT session, working a variety of muscle groups for a somewhat of a full body workout.

After that I went on to abs, where I did a 15 min burn session and got a hell of a workout!

Then I finished it up with 10 mins on the stair stepper, and that thing is no joke! LoL.. Anyhow, that was it for my activity today..

Take care friends, catch ya on the flip side ✌😎

i love that slogan in your first picture. That is so true. It wasn't until I made small, manageable changes in my day-to-day life that I saw weight-loss, muscle gain, and overall fitness become part of my overall life.

2.5 miles under 18 mins is pretty great!

Thanks friend ;) I think its pretty awesome too! I started out my health journey with small changes and now 3 years later I am in amazing health and it was never a huge challenge, things just got easier over time so I added more and now I feel lost when I go more than a day without exercising or healthy eating. I'm happy to hear you changed your life this way too, you deserve a !BEER my friend :0) Take care and stay fit!

Nice quote! That is the reason I started working out around Christmas-time. I knew that I needed to get my body in the habit of getting up so early and doing some work before the New Year started. Plus I didn't want it to just be a resolution, I wanted it to be a lifestyle change.

Thanks, I really do like it too! I'm glad to hear your health wasn't a new years resolution, those things are meant to be broken lol.. I started really hitting it hard again in December too, but that is because I have a wedding on April 20th and I want to be in the best shape of my life for it. #lifegoals. But I am happy to hear you are still sticking with it, I am sure its getting a lil bit easier each day now ;)
