The defending Premier League champions from Liverpool have had a frightening attacking trio in the form of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino since 2017, but according to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, that attacking constellation may soon be a thing of the past. The extremely dangerous trio are in a minor goal crisis at the time of writing, after none of them have scored in Liverpool's last three Premier League matches. According to Carragher, the lack of sharpness can have long-term consequences for Roberto Firmino in particular.

Mane and Salah will probably score many goals again, but I'm worried about Firmino. He is not the primary goal scorer, but he must contribute, and when the other two (Mane and Salah) do not score, then he will have to be a bigger threat, says Jamie Carragher according to Sky Sport.

Roberto Firmino has been a good starter for Liverpool since joining Hoffenheim in 2015, and Firmino has been particularly adept at putting his two attacking colleagues in dangerous situations. Firmino, Mane and Salah have scored a total of 183 Premier League goals in the last four seasons, but Jamie Carragher is confident that Jurgen Klopp's favorite attacking chain will be a thing of the past within the next few years.

All three are approaching 30 years, and it is a matter of time before the attacking trio is to split up. You can not buy three new ones in a few years, but it will happen over time.
