Hello my friends from Hive, welcome back to my blog. Today I bring you the details that I needed in the previous post of the toilet paper holder, where I put a flower that I had at hand. In this post I will present step by step the elaboration of the flower and the leaf that I crochet, with this flower you will be able to decorate cloths, shirts or any work that you have knitted. Work with an outline of the web, changing some turns.

For its elaboration work with pink, white and green crochet thread, scissors and knitting needle.

Graphic scheme of the flower:

In pink

  • We start with 4 chains as shown in the picture and close with a stitch. In this case make 3 chains and two high points inside the circle, 3 chains, 2 high points we repeat three more times. Varying the pattern.

  • For the next round, make 1 chain and one stitch, in the three chains we make 1 low point and half a high point in the first one, in the second one we make 3 high points and the third chain half a high point and a low point, we make 2 stitches by sliding the high points of the previous round and we repeat the same procedure until finishing the round. End with a stitch slipped into the chain where we started the lap.

In white

  • We will make 1 chain, low point, 5 chains, low points, 5 chains, repeat until the end of the lap, close with a sliding point.

  • For this lap, as there are 5 chains, in the first one there is 1 low point, in the second one a half high point and a high point in the third one 3 high points, in the fourth one 1 high point and half high point and in the fifth one low point.

    o Chain 4, 3 high points

Flower leaves.

The leaf patterns can be used to place in various crochet projects, you could decorate a tea towel, make a Christmas garland. On the web you will find many patterns to make beautiful flowers, I will tell you how to make the leaf:

We do chains in this case I did 20. Turn and do low points on each chain. 3 chains and make a low point where the last low point was made, we continue making low points where we made the chains of the beginning, when missing 3 points we turn we make 1 low point in the first point continuing with low points when arriving at the 3 chains we make in the hole 2 low points three chains and 2 low points, continuing with low points, when being at the same height of where we turned (missing 3 points) we turn and make low points in the first point, continue with low points.

In the 3 chains we make 2 low points, 3 chains and 2 low points continue with low points when missing 3 points turn and repeat the same procedure, until you have the length and width desired. At the end of the 3 chains we make 2 low stitches 6 chains we return with low stitches in each chain in the 3 chains we make 2 low stitches close with sliding stitch leave thread to sew.

No se, pero me gustaria intentarlo un día. Hoy ya no cierro la posibilidad de aprender lo que sea que me guste.

I don't know, but I'd like to try it one day. Today I no longer close the possibility of learning whatever I like.

Cute idea for a toilet paper holder. I hope you were able to gift it now? This lock down is a bless (because less people ill) but also very hard, as we cannot see our loved ones regularly. Thank you for this thorough explanation how to crochet one <3
