ORCHID LEAF in crochet

The leaves of orchids have various shapes, most of them are thick and fleshy. Its main function is storage. In this post we will crochet the orchid leaf, remember that in the previous post you can see how the flower was made. So, let's start with each of the steps:

The materials used were as follows:
• Dark green yarn of pavilo
• goldsmith wire
• Knitting needle

To make the sheet you must repeat the procedure 2 times, to obtain two sheets
• We start with 41 chains.

• Return 1: 5 double crochets, 5 double double crochets, 20 double double crochets, 5 double double crochets and 5 double double crochets.

• Return 2: 5 single crochet, 30 double crochet, 10 single crochet, 30 double crochet and 5 double crochet

• Return 3: wire is inserted and 40 single crochets are knitted, then 5 chain stitches, 3 single crochets on those chains and 1 double stitch. Subsequently 40 single crochets and ends with 1 slip stitch.
