They have no legit center who can score in the paint, dominate the boards, and protect the rim. One solution to their problem is to trade their remaining assets for a legitimate center who can provide those flaws in the frontcourt. And that is D'Angelo Russell.
The best option for the Warriors is a three-team trade that will involve the Detroit Pistons and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The trade suggests sending D'Angelo Russell to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Andre Drummond to the Golden State Warriors and veteran guard Jeff Teague plus a future first-round pick to the Detroit Pistons.

I really feel he will be more instrumental to Timberwolves than Pistons. In fact during the Warriors vs timberwolves game, I saw Towns and Russel shaking to each other and it feels like they want to be reunited.
